How To Get Rid Of A Pimple

How To Get Rid Of A Pimple Fast

Those annoying little spots that always pop up at the wrong moment, yep we’re talking about pimples. I have suffered from acne since I was about 18 years old. I have had gone through treatments of Accutane when my acne was at it’s worst at last year I had dealt with a very severe acne breakout, which was caused by a hormonal imbalance.

Last year I found myself, freaking out, to say the least. With a face full of acne I had to keep up attending events, recording videos for my YouTube channel and being in front of the camera. None of it was easy but I picked up a few tricks to help you get rid of a pimple fast! I will get into my acne story on a later date.

7 easy ways to get rid of a pimple fast:

Tria Blue Light Therapy System

I have used this product since before it launched. I was so lucky enough to be one of the first people to test out this new product and my thoughts, it was a must have in my daily skincare routine. I tend to get hormonal acne which is typically targeted around my chin area, they can be extremely painful and can even sometimes last a few weeks! Using this system morning and night treating my skin just five minutes at a time, I really saw improvements in my skin fast. Sometimes when I have a very severe breakout I would even to 2-3 rounds of five-minute treatments. So the first step on how to get rid of a pimple fast is using the Tria Blue Light Therapy System which fights bacteria deep down below the skin.

Avoid ALL Diary

In the midst of me freaking out last year wondering if I would actually go back on Accutane, I decided to try a more natural approach first. Doing a ton of research on YouTube and literally typing in How To Get Rid Of A Pimple Fast or Hormonal Acne I had discovered that dairy products were a huge red flag for someone who has acne prone skin or hormonal acne. Do yourself a favor and if you have a breakout, stop all cheese, milk, froyo, I know for the love of froyo, and anything else that contains dairy. I am telling you after a few days to weeks you will start to notice your skin calming down and those pimples decreasing. To this day I limit how much dairy I intake and am always trying to make substitutions with alternative options like soy milk and soy yogurt.

An Ice Cube A Day, Keeps The Pimples At Bay

An ice cube? Say what?! I know what you’re thinking, how bizarre however trust me on this, it will dramatically help reduce inflammation and calm the skin. When dealing with a breakout or a pimple, most people freak out and apply every product known to man on their face. I am guilty myself, however, this will only irritate the pimples more and leave your skin gasping for air. Every night after you wash your face and before you apply anything on your face, take an ice cube and gently glide it all over your face. It will not only soothe and decrease the inflammation but also numb any of those painful pimples!

Lush Tea Tree  Toner

I have mentioned this toner quite a few times now because it truly makes all the difference in my skin. Since purchasing this toner I have to say that I am hooked and understand what everyone was raving about! It hydrates the skin as well as the tea tree fights bacteria to help get rid of those pimples fast! I use this morning and night, and sometimes even for those days where I am too lazy to properly clean my face.

Clean Your Sheets & Only Wash Your Face Using Your Hands

So technically this is two steps in one, however, I felt like they are somewhat similar in a way that I am taking things back to basics. Make sure you wash all your sheets, towels, blankets and most importantly your pillow case! I would do this weekly and in between wash cycles try spraying the Lush Tree Tea Toner on your pillow before bed, just to be sure there are no bacteria that can cause your breakout to worsen while you’re trying to catch up on your beauty sleep. Just as equally important, stop washing your face with anything besides using your hands. More times than not those spin brushes are filled with bacteria, when not cleaned properly, that can not only irritate your breakout but potentially spread the bacteria all over your face. Go back to basics and how to get rid of a pimple fast is wash your sheets and use your hands to wash your face!

Charcoal Face Mask

This is my most loved and favorite face mask at the moment is the Mud Mask Purifying and Mattifying. Whenever I am felling my skin needs a little pick me up or just trying to fight some stubborn spots, this mask seriously does the trick! I picked it up from Sephora and was so inexpensive. You can pick it up here. I really find that after using this mask my skin feels refreshed and so clean plus it contains zinc which I read somewhere that helps fight acne as well.

Stay Hydrated & Hands Off

Now, these last ones are somewhat no-brainers but still, I just had to mention it. Make sure you are drinking a ton of water to help cleanse your body and staying hydrated. You will be surprised by drinking a few extra glasses of water each day will do for your skin! Furthermore, keep your hands off your face and do not pop those pimples. Chances more likely than not when you pop your pimples, bacteria will spread and the same pimple will keep reoccurring.

I hope you enjoyed this post on how to get rid of pimples fast as these truly made a difference in my skin and I know they will for yours too!
